2 Large Potatoes
1 to 1 1/2 cup besan or chickpea flour
1/2 cup Water or as required
1/4 tsp Haldi or turmeric powder
Red Chili powder as required
Chaat Masala as required
Roasted Cumin seed powder as required
Salt to taste
A little more than 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
Oil for deep Frying

Prepare the chickpea flour batter by mixing besan, water, turmeric powder, salt, and baking powder. Let it rest for approximately 15-20 minutes.

Peel and slice the potatoes into desired shapes.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan.

Dip the potato slices into the chickpea flour batter and coat them well.

Carefully drop the coated potato slices into the hot oil and deep fry until golden brown and crispy.

Remove the pakoras from the oil and drain on paper towels.
