Preheat your oven to 180 C or 350 F. Generously grease 2 inch diameter cup muffin pans with shortening, lard, or butter.

In a bowl, combine all wet ingredients with salt and sugar until the sugar has dissolved.

In another bowl, sift together flour and baking powder. Mix in the wet ingredients until smooth, watering down with water if too thick. It has to be pourable.

Fill each cup ¾ of the way through and bake for 3-5 minutes. Lower the heat to 160 C or 325 F for another 10 minutes. Cool down and serve.
