Heat a pan on the stove and add 1 tablespoon of ghee.

Prepare the sugar syrup by mixing 2 cups of sugar with 1 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of cardamom powder in a pan.

Heat until the sugar melts, then add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and cook for 1-2 more minutes.

Shape the dough into Balushahi and fry in hot oil until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes on each side.

Remove from oil and soak in the sugar syrup for 3-4 minutes before serving.
