Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a food processor, combine the black beans, eggs, cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt.

Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined, scraping down the sides as needed.

If using, fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula.

Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before slicing into squares.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
