Black Bean Brownies

1 can black beans
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup agave syrup
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 cup oats
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Wash hands before starting.

Strain and rinse the black beans in a strainer.

Dump the black beans into a food processor.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder to the processor.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the processor.

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the processor.

Pour in 1/4 cup of coconut oil.

Pour in 1/4 cup of agave syrup.

Add 1/4 cup of cocoa powder to the mixture.

Add 1 cup of oats to the processor, leaving the chocolate chips out for now.

Process all ingredients together until well mixed, scraping down the sides as needed (normally for about 3 minutes).

Take the mixture out of the food processor and place it into a mixing bowl.

Fold in about half of the chocolate chips into the brownie mixture.

Prepare a baking pan by mixing together flour, vegetable oil, and shortening to prevent sticking.

Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared baking pan.

Bake in the oven at 350°F for about 20-25 minutes.
