1 1/2 cups (190g) flour
3/4 cup (170g) softened butter
3/4 cup (150g) brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup (60g) chocolate chips

Bake flour at 350ºF (175ºC) for 5-7 minutes and set aside to cool.

In a bowl, cream together 3/4 cup (170g) softened butter and 3/4 cup (150g) brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.

Add 1 1/2 tablespoons milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon salt; beat until incorporated.

Add the cooled flour and mix until incorporated.

Fold in 1/3 cup (60g) chocolate chips.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Optionally, flatten the dough to bake cookies.

If baking, bake at 350F (180C) for 15 minutes and let cool.
