Edible Cookie Dough

Heat treat 1 cup of flour by microwaving it in a heatproof bowl for 1 minute and 15 seconds.

Give the flour a quick mix and allow it to cool to room temperature.

In another bowl, beat 1/2 cup of softened butter with 3/4 cup of brown sugar for around 3 to 4 minutes until light and fluffy.

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1/8 teaspoon of salt to the butter and sugar mixture and mix it through.

Sift the cooled treated flour into the mixture and begin folding it in until almost combined, discarding any large pieces left from sifting.

Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips into the batter.

Add a couple tablespoons of milk and mix it in one last time.

Scoop 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of the dough and roll it up to make cookie dough balls.

Chill the cookie dough balls for 20 minutes before serving.
