Today, variations can be found globally, with many adapting the recipe to include local spices or different cheeses.

Start by preparing half a kilogram of chicken, cut into small pieces, which includes both thigh and breast meat.
Add 2 green chilies, 2 tablespoons of fresh coriander, and 1 small onion to the chicken.
Boil 1 potato, grate it, and set it aside to add later.
Add the grated potato at the end to avoid it becoming sticky while chopping the chicken.
Add 1 teaspoon of crushed red chili, 1 teaspoon of salt (adjust salt since chicken powder will also be added), and 1 teaspoon of chicken powder.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of roasted cumin and 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder to the mixture.
Chop everything finely in a chopper until well combined.
Once chopped, add the grated boiled potato and mix well.
Take a portion of the mixture, shape it like a kebab, and place mozzarella and cheddar cheese in the center.
Seal the mixture around the cheese to form a ball.
Dip the ball in egg, then roll it in bread crumbs to coat.
Repeat the process for all the mixture to form cheese balls.
Heat oil for frying, ensuring it is not too hot to prevent burning.
Fry the cheese balls in batches, allowing them to cook for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Remove the fried cheese balls and drain on paper towels.
Serve with various dips, and optionally add hot sauce or soy sauce to enhance flavor.
