1 can (14 oz) condensed milk
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh milk
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk

Separate the yolk from the egg white using a clean condiment bottle.

Transfer the yolk to a bowl.

Beat the yolks using a wire whisk until the texture becomes smooth.

Add the condensed milk to the beaten yolks.

Add the fresh milk (or evaporated milk) to the mixture.

Add the vanilla extract (or vanilla essence) to the mixture.

Beat the mixture until all ingredients are well blended.

Set aside the mixture.

Put white sugar into a Llanera (or a 9-inch round cake pan).

Heat the sugar over a stovetop to make caramel.

Tilt the Llanera to cook the sugar evenly as it melts and turns brown.

Once the sugar is caramelized, remove it from the fire and let it cool for a few minutes.

Pour the egg and milk mixture over the cooled caramel in the Llanera.

Cover the Llanera with aluminum foil.

Boil water in a bamboo steamer (or metal steamer).

Once the water is boiling, place the Llanera in the steamer and close it.

Cook the Leche Flan for 30 to 35 minutes.
