1

Take 1/2 cup of warm water and put your egg in there to warm up.

2

Warm 1/3 cup of milk in the microwave for about 20 seconds.

3

In a bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of flour, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of yeast with the warm milk and let it work for about 10 minutes in your electric mixer.

4

Add 3 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, the warm egg, and the yeast mixture to the mixer and mix well.

5

Add a little bit of oil to your pot to grease it, then put the dough in the cup and cover it. Let it rise for one hour.

6

In a large pot, add some oil and then add chopped onions and cubed pork.

7

Add chopped garlic to the pot once the meat is browned nicely.

8

Pour in 1 cup of hot water, then add another cup.

9

Add 1 tablespoon of caraway seeds, 2 tablespoons of paprika, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 bay leaf. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.

10

Flour your working surface lightly and shape the dough into a loaf, cutting it in half and shaping each half into a smaller loaf. Let it rest for about 20 minutes.

11

Rinse the sauerkraut and remove the bay leaf, then add the sauerkraut to the pot with 1/4 cup of water and cover it. Simmer for another 30 minutes.

12

In a large pot, bring some water to a boil and add some salt. Use cheesecloth or a steaming basket to put your dumpling on top, cover it up, and steam for 30 minutes.

13

After 30 minutes, add 1/3 cup of sour cream to the pot and give it a good mix. This is ready to be served.
