Blitz 800 g of lamb mint for a smoother texture.
Blitz 3 slices of bread into breadcrumbs.
Add oil, 1 tsp black pepper, 0.5 tsp garam masala, 1.5 tsp cumin powder, 1.5 tsp coriander powder, 0.5 tsp red chili powder, salt to taste, small handful of fresh mint, 1 onion, ginger, garlic, chilies, and fresh coriander leaves into a bowl.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly by hand.
Shape the mixture into round balls or flatten them into patties.
Dip hands in oil to help mold the mixture into smooth shapes.
Preheat oil in a pan for shallow frying.
Add the patties to the hot oil and cover with a lid.
Cook the patties, turning them over after a few minutes until they are browned and cooked through.
Remove the patties from the oil and serve with mint sauce, chili sauce, or relish.
