The Black Russian cocktail originated in Belgium in the late 1940s, created by a bartender for the American ambassador. This simple yet elegant drink combines the bold flavors of vodka and coffee liqueur, making it a favorite among coffee lovers. Today, it remains popular in bars worldwide, often enjoyed as a dessert cocktail or after-dinner drink.
Fill a glass with ice.
Add 1 and 1/2 oz of premium vodka to the glass.
Pour in 3/4 oz of coffee liqueur (Kahlua).
Stir the mixture for about 20 seconds to chill it down.
