Biscotti

Cultural Context

Biscotti, originating from the Tuscan city of Prato, are twice-baked cookies traditionally enjoyed with coffee or dessert wine. Their dry, crunchy texture makes them perfect for dipping. While often associated with Italian cuisine, they have gained popularity worldwide and can be found in various flavors and variations. They are commonly served during holidays and special occasions, but are also enjoyed as a daily snack.
