- 7Season with salt and black pepper; keep warm while preparing patties.
- 8In a bowl, combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, salt, and black pepper.
- 9Form mixture into patties, about 1 inch thick.
- 10Heat olive oil in a separate skillet over medium-high heat.
- 11Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- 12Remove patties and let rest for a few minutes.
- 13Serve patties topped with mushroom gravy and garnish with parsley.

- 9If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little water and add it to the skillet, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- 10Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to heat through and meld the flavors.
