3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon ginger
4 cardamom pods
1 cinnamon stick
4 cloves
2 bay leaves

1 cup peas
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup coriander, chopped
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Rinse basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes, then drain.
