Vegan Chocolate Cake

200 grams self-raising flour
150 grams caster sugar
70 milliliters flavorless oil (like vegetable oil)
200 milliliters vegan yogurt
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder

In a bowl, mix together the self-raising flour and baking powder.

Add the caster sugar and mix really well until combined.

Add the cocoa powder and mix again until well combined.

In a separate bowl or jug, mix together the vegan yogurt and oil.

Once mixed, add this to the dry ingredients and mix well until a thick batter forms.

Pre-line a 6-inch cake tin with baking paper.

Pour the batter into the cake tin and smooth out the top.

Bake in a preheated oven at gas mark 6 (200 degrees Celsius or 180 degrees Celsius fan) for 35 to 40 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
