Peel and chop the overripe plantains into smaller pieces for blending.
Transfer the chopped plantains into a blender and add warm water; blend until fully smooth.

Add powdered milk, sugar, yeast, salt, and vanilla extract to the bowl; mix until well combined.
Cover the bowl and let the mixture rise for at least 1 hour and 30 minutes until doubled in size.
In a pot, add canola oil for frying, ensuring it's at least 2 to 3 inches deep.
Use an ice cream scoop to scoop the batter and carefully drop it into the hot oil for deep frying.
Stir occasionally to ensure even browning.
Once golden brown, remove the puff puff and place on absorbent paper to cool.
