Melt 30 grams of butter and mix in 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of peri peri powder, 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes to the butter mixture.
Also, add 1/2 teaspoon of garlic paste and mix everything well, then set aside.
Wash the potatoes thoroughly, keeping the skin on.
Slice the potatoes crosswise into thin slices, stopping just before cutting all the way through, ensuring they stay connected at the bottom.
Open the slices slightly without breaking them.
Spread the butter mixture generously over the potatoes, ensuring it seeps into the cuts.
Sprinkle salt over the potatoes.
Bake the potatoes in a convection microwave at 180°C for 10 minutes, then increase the temperature to 230°C and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes.
Check the potatoes after 35 minutes; they should be golden on top and soft inside.
If needed, bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until fully cooked and golden.
