Prepare a clean surface for mixing.
Add 2 cups of flour to the surface.
Add 1 tablespoon of baking powder to the flour.
Add 1 egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla to the mixture.
Pour in 1/4 cup of milk.
Add 1/2 cup of sugar.
Mix all the ingredients together until well integrated, without excessive kneading.
Remove any dough that sticks to your hands while mixing.
Once the dough is well integrated, form balls of your desired size.
Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Flatten the balls using a plate to achieve a thin shape.
Preheat the oven to 280°F.
While preparing the next batch, place the first batch in the oven.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until they are toasted.
After 45 minutes, check that the champurradas are toasted and remove them from the oven.
Let the champurradas cool slightly before serving.
