Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
Remove bacon and drain on paper towels.
In the same skillet, crack eggs and cook to desired doneness, about 2-3 minutes for sunny-side up.
Toast bread or bagels in a toaster until golden brown.
Spread butter on one side of the toasted bread or bagel.
Layer cooked bacon on the buttered side.
Add cooked eggs on top of the bacon.
Place cheese on top of the eggs and cover with the other slice of bread or bagel half.
If desired, add avocado, spinach, or tomato slices before closing the sandwich.
Press down gently to compact the sandwich.
Serve warm and enjoy.
