🔴 Live baking Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins (Preppy Kitchen’s recipe)

Line a classic 12-cavity muffin tin with foil liners.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Break up 3 overripe bananas to make them easier to mash.

Mash the bananas using a potato smasher until mostly smooth with some light lumps remaining.

Add 1 room temperature egg to the mashed bananas.

Pour in 1/3 cup (75 grams) melted and slightly cooled butter.

Add 1 teaspoon of Madagascar and Mexican bourbon vanilla extract.

Mix the wet ingredients together until well combined.

Sift in 1.5 cups (180 grams) of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of pink salt into the wet mixture.

Add cinnamon to taste to the dry ingredients.

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula, being careful not to overmix.

Add semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips to the batter, reserving some for topping the muffins.

Scoop the batter into the lined muffin tin using a small ice cream scooper or spoon.

Top each muffin with reserved chocolate chips.
