While traditionally made with beef, variations exist using chicken or seafood, showcasing the adaptability of this comforting dish across different cultures and kitchens.

Prep the beef by seasoning it in advance to infuse flavors.
Add the seasoned beef to a pot and pressure cook for roughly 20 minutes with enough water to prevent burning.
Chop irish potatoes and dashing into cubes and set aside.
Check the beef after 20 minutes; it should be soft and easy to cut.
Separate the beef from the beef stock and set aside.
In a pot, add a little oil and sauté chopped onion, garlic, bell peppers, and green seasoning for a few minutes.
Add the beef back into the pot and mix well with the sautéed seasonings.
Pour in the beef stock and additional water as needed.
Add chopped carrots and allow to boil.
Prepare dumplings and set aside.
Once the soup is boiling, add the dumplings and provisions (dashing, irish potatoes, frozen cassava, and sweet potatoes).
Stir everything well and allow to boil again before adding more seasonings.
Add more green seasoning, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, and a little sugar for flavor.
Check the flavors and allow to cook until done.
