Apple Pie Recipe (Delicious and easy)

Whole wheat flour adds fiber.

Peel and dice apples.

In a pot, combine apples with white sugar, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, lime juice, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil and boil on low heat for 10 minutes.

Mix together cornstarch with the remaining water and add the mixture to the pot. Boil for another minute and let cool while preparing the pie crust.

Roll out pie crust on a floured surface and transfer to pie plate. Add the filling.

Roll out the top pie crust, seal and crimp the edges, and cut vents on the pie crust. Sprinkle the top with brown sugar and cinnamon.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 1 hour.

Let cool and serve with ice cream.
