Place a heavy pan on the stove and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil on high heat.

Dust 1 kilo of stroganoff beef cut into 1 centimeter strips with around 2 tablespoons of flour, ensuring it's well covered.

Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the same pan and place the beef in a single layer, cooking in batches to avoid overcrowding.

Add 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika to the beef and adjust seasoning to preference, cooking until the meat has a great sear, then remove it from the pan.

Place all the seared meat back into the pan, add the mushroom mixture, and mix through.

Add 500 milliliters of chicken stock, cover, and cook on low heat for around 20 minutes until the meat softens and the liquid thickens slightly.

Add 300 milliliters of heavy cream, mix through, and cook on low heat for around 5 to 10 minutes, adjusting seasoning as needed.
