Chop onion and add to the slow cooker.
Add approximately 3 cloves of garlic to the slow cooker.
Add about 2 tablespoons of ginger to the slow cooker, plus an additional tablespoon of ginger paste off camera.
Add approximately 2 tablespoons of tomato puree to the slow cooker.
Add two tins of chopped tomatoes to the slow cooker for liquid.
Add two heaped teaspoons of garam masala to the slow cooker.
Add one and a half teaspoons of chili powder to the slow cooker.
Add one and a half teaspoons of smoked paprika to the slow cooker.
Add one teaspoon of ground turmeric to the slow cooker.
Add a heaped teaspoon of ground coriander to the slow cooker.
Season with a couple of grains of salt and a generous amount of black pepper to the slow cooker.
Add about 2 to 3 tablespoons of vinegar to the slow cooker.
Add approximately 100 grams (about 6 teaspoons) of ground almonds to the slow cooker.
Add 2 tablespoons of white sugar to the slow cooker.
Add four chicken breasts to the slow cooker, packing it tightly.
Set the slow cooker to high for at least 5 hours without stirring.
After cooking, use a blender to blitz the sauce until smooth, being careful to avoid splattering.
Chop the cooked chicken into chunky pieces, ensuring it remains intact and juicy.
Add approximately 4 tablespoons of Greek yogurt to the pot and mix gently to combine.
Add chopped coriander if desired.
