2 Tablespoons Butter
⅓ Cup Tomato Purée
2 Tablespoons Hot Sauce
¼ Cup White Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
¼ Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
¼ cup of water
1 Tablespoon of cornstarch

Whisk two eggs to prepare the egg batter.

In a mixing bowl, add the flour, cornflour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and oregano and mix well to combine.

Dip the chicken wings into the egg batter and then into the flour mixture. Mix well to form a proper coat on the chicken wings.

Preheat oil (preferably sunflower oil) to high heat.

Fry the chicken wings for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove the chicken wings and place them on a cooling rack to rest for 10 minutes to crisp.

In a saucepan, add the butter, tomato purée, hot sauce, white vinegar, sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and let cook for 3 minutes.

Add the water & cornstarch mixture and let simmer to thicken and reduce.
