In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of sugar, 1 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup of dark cocoa, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix well.

Add 2 eggs, 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of canola oil, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix for 2 minutes.

Carefully pour in 1 cup of hot water and mix well until the batter is thin in consistency.
