1

Knead the pie dough using 800 g of flour, 450 ml of lukewarm water, and 1 tablespoon of salt.

2

Cover the prepared dough and let it rest for about 30 minutes.

3

Divide the dough into three parts and form three crusts, letting them rest for 15 minutes.

4

Prepare the filling by mixing 1 kg of ground beef, 50 ml of oil, 70 ml of cold water, and 2 chopped onions with 1 tablespoon of salt and pepper to taste.

5

Melt 150 g of butter and mix with 50 ml of oil to coat the dough.

6

Roll out the dough as thinly as possible.

7

Coat the rolled dough with the butter mixture.

8

Spread the meat mixture along the edges of the dough.

9

Cut the dough into pieces about 4 cm wide and wrap them to form mantles, arranging them in a 38 cm baking pan.

10

Coat the mantles with butter and bake in a preheated oven at 250 degrees Celsius for 30 to 40 minutes, checking towards the end for color.

11

Pour a little hot water over the baked mantles if desired for moisture, or omit for crispiness.
