Garlic Sesame Tofu

Cornstarch โ€“ 1 tbsp

Sesame Oil โ€“ 2 tsp
Rice Vinegar โ€“ 1 tsp
Honey โ€“ 3 tbsp
Water โ€“ 4 tbsp
Garlic โ€“ 5 cloves
Vegetable Oil โ€“ 1 tsp

Press the extra firm tofu to remove excess moisture.

Cut the tofu into cubes or slices.

In a bowl, mix together 1 tbsp of soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and water to create the sauce.

In another bowl, combine cornstarch and panko bread crumbs.

Coat each piece of tofu in the cornstarch mixture, then dip in the sauce, and finally coat with the panko bread crumbs.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the coated tofu to the pan and cook until crispy and golden brown on all sides.

In a separate pan, sautรฉ minced garlic until fragrant.

Add the remaining soy sauce and the crispy tofu to the garlic, tossing to coat in the sauce.
