Slice 3 oranges and 2 lemons.

Add the sliced oranges and lemons to a pot with 8 cups of water.

Add 2 cinnamon sticks, 8 cloves, and 0.5 teaspoons of nutmeg to the pot.

Bring the mixture to a boil, but do not add the tea bags yet.

Allow the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the black tea (PG Tips) to the mixture and let it steep for about 5 minutes.

Remove the fruit using a strainer, sieve, or cheesecloth.

Do not squeeze the tea bags to avoid bitterness.

Taste the tea and add sugar if desired.

If you prefer a pulp-free tea, use cheesecloth to strain it.
