1 tablespoon turmeric
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon aniseed
1/4 cup carob molasses
1/4 cup pine nuts

Sift ground aniseed to get the powder out.

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and turmeric in a bowl.

Pour milk into the center of the dry ingredients and mix properly from the inside to the outside.

Add orange blossom water and oil to the mixture.

Divide the batter into two portions, one for the bottom and one for the top.

Spread tahini all over the pan and edges to prevent sticking.

Pour half of the yellow batter into the pan for the bottom layer.

Pour the black molasses batter in the center and spread it outwards to prevent mixing with the yellow batter.

Finish by adding the remaining yellow batter on top.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for approximately 40 minutes, checking for doneness.
