  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. 3In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  4. 4In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, ground beef mixture, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  5. 5Transfer the noodle mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. 6Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the noodle mixture.
  7. 7If using, sprinkle chopped green onions over the cheese.
