Peel the onions and finely chop them. Then sauté in a pan with butter until they become translucent.

In a bowl with the minced beef add the fried onion, egg, butter (melted), salt, and pepper and mix to combine.

Roll out the first sheet of filo pastry on a working surface and brush with melted butter. Place a strip of filling along the length of the dough, then roll it up. Repeat the process for others.

Place the rolled pastry in a circle in the baking dish until the entire pan is filled. Bake at 180°C/360°F for 40 minutes.

Cut the burek after baking and serve.
