Welcome to Dada's FoodCrave Kitchen; today I'm making peanut butter soup with a secret ingredient.
Using shocky in my beef peanut butter soup, I have my beef here already washed.
I'm using natural creamy peanut butter, make sure it says creamy on the label.
I have one can of tomato paste, salt to taste, and I'm using three tomatoes which I peeled after soaking in boiling water.
If you don't have fresh tomatoes, you can use canned tomatoes.
I'm using two Jinbo cubes, one large onion, and one tablespoon of locust beans.
I'm going to blend my ingredients: one Jinbo cube, cherry tomatoes, peeled tomatoes, and one habanero pepper with a little bit of water and salt.
In a pot, add the meat with a little bit of water to season it with sliced onions, one habanero pepper, one Jinbo cube, and a little bit of salt.
I always like to season and cook my meat before adding more water.
In my mortar, I'm adding one tablespoon of locust beans and blending it into a paste; this is my secret ingredient for flavor.
My meat is seasoned and cooked, now I'm adding my blended ingredients to the pot.
Next, I'm adding one can of tomato paste and the locust beans paste, along with water to the pot.
Wait for the water to boil; I'm using Schmucker's brand of peanut butter, and I'm going to use half of the jar.
After adding the peanut butter, mix it well and let it boil on low heat.
You do not need to fry any onions; everything should boil to let the oil from the peanut butter and meat come up on its own.
Now, I'm adding okra and a large red pepper to float in the soup.
Squeeze one lemon or lime into the soup for added flavor; it's optional but recommended.
Mix well, taste for salt, and keep cooking until the oil rises to the top, indicating it's ready.
The soup will thicken up; cook on medium heat and keep checking until the oil comes up.
