Chicken sausage is lower in fat, while pork sausage is more affordable.

Put a little over 2 quarts of water in the Instant Pot and set it to sauté on high.

Add a little bit of avocado oil to the water to prevent the pasta from sticking.

Cover the pot with the lid to keep the heat in while the water boils.

Once the water is boiling, break the angel hair pasta into thirds and add it to the pot.

Cook the pasta for about 3-4 minutes until soft, then shut off the pot and pour the pasta into a strainer in the sink.

Remove the casing from half of an 11 oz link of Portuguese linguisa sausage and crumble it into pieces.

Set the Instant Pot to sauté on medium and add the crumbled sausage to brown it.

Once browned, add a 45 oz jar of pre-made pasta sauce to the pot and let everything cook together and simmer for a bit.

Serve the sausage and sauce mixture over the cooked pasta.
