Gruyère adds a nutty flavor, while processed cheese is more economical.

Trim off the shrimp antennae, as well as any sharp parts. Butterfly by cutting with scissors through the back (do not cut all the way through). Remove the vein as well.

Arrange the shrimp on a baking tray and season with salt.

In a bowl, mix together the shrimp filling.

Spoon the cheese mixture over the shrimp, covering the exposed meat as much as possible.

Bake at pre heated 180°C oven for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the shrimps are orange in color.
