Rinse 500 grams of cherry tomatoes and set aside.

Peel 3 garlic cloves.

Finely chop some basil (1/2 cup).

Place a pot on the stove top on medium high heat and fill with water.

Add salt and a splash of olive oil to the water and allow it to come to a boil.

Once boiling, add in 250 grams of pasta and stir.

Cook the pasta until al dente, then turn off the heat and strain it in a colander.

Get an ovenproof casserole and add in the 500 grams of cherry tomatoes.

Drizzle with 1/4 cup of olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper; mix with hands.

Push the tomatoes to the edge of the casserole, leaving a gap in the middle.

Place 2 blocks of feta cheese in the middle of the casserole and scatter the 3 garlic cloves around it.

Drizzle another 1/4 cup of olive oil over the feta cheese, then add 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes (optional).

Bake in the oven for 35 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (204 degrees Celsius).

After baking, add in the cooked pasta and 1/2 cup of chopped basil; mix everything together.
