Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Grease a baking dish with olive oil or butter.

Pat cod fillets dry and place in the baking dish.

Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped parsley, salt, and half of the Cajun seasoning.

Pour the garlic butter sauce evenly over the cod fillets.

Top with lemon slices and sprinkle with remaining Cajun seasoning.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
