In a deep bowl combine well the eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanillin and milk.

Cut the loaf into slices ½ in /1.5 cm wide.

Heat a pan over medium heat with 1/3 oz of the butter.

Dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture on both sides and place onto the pan, fry on both sides until golden.

To fry next slices clean the pan with a paper towel and only then add some butter and fry the toasts.

Serve the French toasts hot with lumps of butter and drizzled with melted honey or jam. To taste decorate with berries.
