2 Dried Red Chili
1 tsp Black Peppercorn
1 tsp Cumin seeds
400 gm Tomato Puree
1 Tsp Mustard seeds
2 Sliced green chilli
10-12 Curry Leaves
1 tbsp Tamarind Puree
Asafoetida Powder
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
Coriander Leaves
Salt to taste

Dry roast all the ingredients for the rasam powder.

Let it cool and grind it into a coarse powder.

Heat a kadai with oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chillies, asafoetida powder, curry leaves and stir it.

Add the ground rasam powder and mix well.

Add tomatoes puree and saute.

Add turmeric powder, salt and mix well.

Add diluted tamarind puree and water mix well, let it boil for 5 mins.

Finally, add coriander leaves and serve!
