1 thick slice of white bread
1 cup milk
2 onions
2 tablespoons curry powder
3/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup cranberries
1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar
3 tablespoons chutney
1 kilogram beef mince
2 eggs
2 bay leaves

Soak 1 thick slice of white bread in 1/2 cup of milk for a bit.

Chop and add 2 onions to the mixture.

Add 2 tablespoons of curry powder, 3/4 teaspoon of turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon of white pepper, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar to the bread mixture.

Add 1/2 cup of cranberries instead of raisins, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of vinegar.

Add 3 tablespoons of chutney to the mixture.

Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly.

Add 1 kilogram of beef mince to the mixture and mix well to combine all flavors.

Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and place it in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, prepare the egg custard by beating 2 eggs with the remaining 1/2 cup of milk.

Pour the egg custard mixture evenly over the baked dish and return it to the oven for another 20 to 30 minutes.

Once done, place 2 bay leaves on top for decoration.
