Mozzarelline Fritte - Antipasti

In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed.

Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.

Take each mozzarella cube, coat it in the flour mixture, dip it in the beaten eggs, and then roll it in the breadcrumbs until fully coated.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, carefully add the breaded mozzarella balls in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Fry the mozzarella balls for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown, turning occasionally for even cooking.

Remove the fried mozzarella balls and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Serve hot with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
