Dissolve 1 tablespoon of yeast with 2 tablespoons of sugar in 1 cup of warm milk.
Mix until the yeast dissolves and add more milk until the entire cup is used.
Add 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 2 tablespoons of oil; mix until blended.
Gradually add approximately 4 cups of flour one cup at a time, stirring until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a counter until it doesn't stick to your fingers; add more flour if too sticky or warm milk if too dry.
Place the dough back in a bowl, cover it, and let it rest for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
Poke the dough; if a hole is left, it's ready. Knead again to remove air.
Shape the dough into logs or round pieces using a cookie cutter or glass.
Place the shaped dough on an oven pan and let them rise for another hour.
Preheat the oven and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
Rub a stick of butter on the hot bread or brush melted butter on.
