Traditionally made with three types of milk, it symbolizes hospitality and is often served during special occasions. The cake has gained popularity worldwide, inspiring variations that incorporate local flavors and ingredients, making it a versatile treat enjoyed by many.

Olive oil provides healthy fats and a unique flavor.
Put water at the bottom of the pan to prevent sticking.
Turn on the heat and add 1 liter of milk to the pan.
Add 125 grams of sugar and 125 grams of brown sugar to the milk and stir until dissolved.
Once the milk starts to boil, add 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda.
Lower the heat to collect foam that forms on top of the milk.
Clean the sides of the pan with a wet cheese cloth every half hour to prevent burning.
Let the milk reduce on low heat for about 2 hours, collecting foam as necessary.
After 2.5 hours, check the consistency of the dulce de leche; it should be runny but thickens when cooled.
Separate 6 eggs, placing the yolks in one bowl and the whites in another.
Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt until they are foamy but not stiff.
Slowly add 125 grams of powdered sugar to the egg whites, one tablespoon every 15 seconds.
Add the egg yolks to the mixture and mix gently.
Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the mixture and whisk again.
Fold in 2 cups of flour gently to avoid deflating the mixture.
Butter the bottom of a 24x32 cm tray to prevent sticking.
Pour the batter into the tray, using a spatula to distribute it evenly.
Drop the tray gently on the counter to flatten the batter and let it sit for 1 minute.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius, placing the tray in the middle row to prevent burning.
Prepare the milk mixture by heating 200 milliliters of milk with 125 grams of sugar until dissolved, then add the remaining milk and 400 milliliters of cream.
