Instructions
- 1Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat until shimmering.
- 2Add chopped onions and garlic; sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- 3Stir in diced bell peppers and carrots; cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- 4Add cubed beef; brown on all sides, about 7-10 minutes.
- 5Sprinkle in paprika and cumin; stir to coat the meat evenly.
- 6Pour in beef broth and add diced tomatoes; bring to a boil.
- 7Reduce heat to low and add bay leaves; cover and simmer for 1-1.5 hours until beef is tender.
- 8Add diced potatoes; cook for an additional 30-40 minutes until potatoes are soft.
- 9Season with salt and black pepper to taste; stir in chopped parsley before serving.

- ●3 cups all-purpose flour
- ●1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- ●1 cup warm water (110°F)
- ●1/4 cup sugar
- ●1 tsp salt
- ●2 tbsp olive oil
- ●1/4 cup cocoa powder
- ●1/2 cup milk
- ●1 egg
Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- 2Add olive oil, salt, and 2 cups of flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until combined.
- 3Gradually add the remaining flour until a dough forms. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- 4Divide the dough into two equal parts. To one part, add cocoa powder and milk, mixing until fully incorporated.
- 5Grease a bowl and place both doughs in it, covering with a damp cloth. Let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 6Once risen, punch down the doughs and roll each into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- 7Layer the chocolate dough on top of the plain dough, then roll them together tightly to form a log.
- 8Place the log into a greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise again for about 30 minutes.
- 9Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 10Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
- 11Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
