Boil water in a pot.
Add soaked rice (1 cup) to the boiling water.
Stir gently and let it boil at high flame for 7-8 minutes until rice is 95% cooked.
Strain the rice and spread it on a tray to cool and prevent stickiness.
In a broad vessel, heat ghee and add cumin seeds on low flame until slightly brown.
Add the strained rice to the cumin seeds and check salt consistency, adding more if needed.
Gently stir and mix for 1-2 minutes, then turn off the flame.
