1 cup water
1/2 cup sour curd

Open the 500 gram packet of MTR instant rice idli mix.

Transfer 1 cup of the instant mix into a bowl.

Add 1 cup of water to the bowl using the same cup that measured the rice mixture.

Mix the water and instant mix thoroughly without any lumps.

Add 1/2 cup of sour curd to the mixture and mix well again.

Cover the mixture and let it rest for around 5 minutes.

Grease the idli plates.

Pour the batter into the greased idli plates.

Heat a pressure cooker and place the idli plates inside.

Steam the idlis in the pressure cooker for 10 minutes without putting the weight on.

Switch off the stove and open the cooker to check the idlis.

Remove the plates from the cooker and allow them to cool a little before removing the idlis.
