1

Take a wonton wrapper and brush the edges with egg wash made from 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of water.

2

Prepare the filling mixture by stirring together ground pork, scallion, ginger, garlic, cabbage, carrot, soy sauce, and toasted sesame oil.

3

Place a small amount of the filling mixture in the center of the wonton wrapper.

4

Fold the wrapper over the filling and seal the edges with more egg wash.

5

Arrange the sealed dumplings on a plate covered with damp paper towels to keep them fresh.

6

Heat a non-stick pan and cover the bottom with oil until it shimmers.

7

Add the dumplings to the pan and brown them on both sides, adjusting the heat to medium (around 350-375°F).

8

Once browned, pour a little water into the pan to steam the dumplings and cover them.

9

Let the dumplings steam for 2.5 to 3 minutes until most of the water has evaporated.

10

Uncover the pan and serve the dumplings with a dipping sauce made of soy sauce, sesame oil, veggies, chili oil, and vinegar.
