Beat egg whites in a bowl until stiff peaks form.

Beat egg yolks in a different bowl until smooth.

Place beaten egg yolks in a Pyrex pie plate or other flat dish.

When all sides are browned, transfer pieces of French toast from griddle to a serving plate.

Place a pat of butter in the center and drizzle French toast with honey, or put a dollop of whipped topping in the center and place strawberry halves over top of French toast.
