Cajun Spiced Fish Stew

Cultural Context

Cajun Spiced Fish Stew originates from the rich culinary traditions of Louisiana, where the melding of French, African, and Spanish influences created a unique flavor profile. This stew is a celebration of the bountiful seafood available in the Gulf of Mexico, often enjoyed during family gatherings and festive occasions. Today, it has gained popularity beyond Louisiana, with variations found in many coastal regions and seafood-loving communities.
